Our Thoughts Have The Last Word

Often times you will hear people say actions speak louder than words. That's because thoughts can reflect themselves through our words and through our body and/or actions, and while you might be able to control what you say to go against what you think, rarely do people contain the power to control their body as well. Even if you were to try to do this it would be difficult and hard to keep up with. It would cause a lot of resistance in the body which is not good and can even lead to health problems. In fact, I do believe that this is why many emotional and health problems arise; because many people are not aware of their thoughts in the first place! They have suppressed thoughts or negative things in the back of their mind that have been there for years and, for whatever reason, continue to deny them to the point where they don't even consciously recall that they are there. Your subconscious is constantly executing thought processes and recollections, yet, you may be paying little attention to it. The bad part is instead of you acting on these thoughts or dealing with them, they have since taken a life of their on and have, or will, manifest in your attitudes and in your behaviors as long as you don not acknowledge that they are there and replace them with positive and forgiving thoughts. This is why I say crying is ok! Telling someone how you feel is ok! You should not ignore, suppress, or act like something did not bother you or hurt you when in actuality it did, because while you may think it will go away, it won't! This will cause resistance in the body, and what ever is in the back of your mind will manifest in your life in some shape or form. This creates problems in our lives and problems with our health that just don't seem to go away. Depending on how long this has been going on, you might not even recollect when or where it started in the first place.

At this point you may find yourself searching within your self, not even knowing what you are looking for. This is something that can be a process with an indefinite timeline. Nonetheless, you can begin by making the general realization that you have caused resistance in your life somewhere down the line, and that you are willing to release it. Just because negative things may be occurring in your life does not mean that you cannot find a way to consciously deal with the root of the problem. It is not worth anything to hold negative feelings inside, no matter how small or big. There is always a positive way to express how you feel or release tension or frustration in a way where you are not transferring negativity to another entity. Instead, you must use positive intentions while releasing negative things, releasing it to the Universe as simply energy. When you sincerely focus on this concept for a while, the rest will follow. Things will come to the surface. Your mind will be getting the message to tell your body to release the resistance and reveal the cause of it, and you will begin making room for much more positive things in your life. As I stated earlier, this can indeed be a process that is learned over time.

As you begin to feel for suppressed negativity that you may have been holding on to for a long time and begin to find positive ways to let it out, the next step is to try to not create those same negative thoughts over again. In other words, now you will start to pay attention to your thoughts more often and practice creating new positive thoughts, thoughts that would want to manifest in your life. It's simple enough to remember; negative thoughts equal negative physical manifestation, and, positive thoughts equal positive physical manifestation. That doesn't always mean it will be simple to do, but over time and with practice you can become accustomed to this way of thinking.

Try to pay attention to your thoughts throughout one whole day. This may sound easy to do, but, you might be amazed at how often you can drift away from paying close attention to this. When you are not busy talking, most times you are thinking, whether you have been paying attention to it or not. For one day, try to pay close attention to the thoughts that run through your head, pay attention to little things you say to yourself in your mind. Don't try to stop them, just acknowledge them. Say something to yourself when you wake up such as "I'm going to listen to my thoughts today". Say this to yourself throughout the day so that your subconscious gets the message to do so. Hopefully, you will find your self recognizing thoughts that you are thinking throughout the day. When you do this, ask yourself at the end of the day were the thoughts that went through your mind mostly negative or mostly positive thoughts? Really pay attention. How often are you putting your own self down? How often are you building yourself up? Notice thoughts that are repetitive throughout the day. These are the thoughts that are probably the most controlling and expressed through your actions and throughout your life. If you have a lot of repetitive negative thoughts running through your mind or slipping out of your mouth all day, then these are the ones that you will need to monitor the most and make an effort to change. This is not something that is easy to do over night. It is something that you have to work on, on a daily basis. When you begin listening to and paying attention to your thoughts on a daily basis, you should become fully aware of the thoughts that you regularly might have that are negative or damaging. Make note of them. Write them down if you need to. After you do this, you will start to notice your thoughts without much effort, and when the negative ones pop into your head you will notice them right away. Don't beat yourself up. Just replace them with a positive thought.

After a while of doing this, you should also note when you most have these negative thoughts. For instance, maybe you are very impatient, and every time something takes much longer than you would like, you notice you have a negative thought. If you pay attention to this with a good effort to forgive yourself instantaneously, and replace that negative thought that comes with a positive one such as "I am learning to be patient", then you will get better at not having that negative thought in the first place. In a sense, you will train yourself to be positive in these circumstances, so that next time you have a positive initial reaction instead.

Once again, paying attention to your thoughts, and filtering out the habitual negative thinking towards yourself, others, and towards life in general, is a task that will be at hand every day for most of us. Yet, if you practice this technique on a regular basis you will definitely see a substantial positive change in your attitude, your actions, and your overall life.
